Can anyone recommend a saddle fitter in Kent/Sussex

We've had our horse's back checked and have been advised to get a saddle fitter out as her current one (leather GP) isn't the best fit since she has filled out. I have reservations about the saddle fitter I used last time (mentioning no names, but the back lady also mentioned them as one to avoid).

Can anyone suggest a good saddle fitter that would come out to Tonbridge? Someone who will reflock/adjust if possible and won't insist on selling a new one unless it's really necessary

i just had peter husbands out who is based in ryarsh and i would definitely recommend him. I was worried just like you are and am so pleased with the service i received from peter. He does not sell saddles other than made to measure so theres is no problem with that worry. He readjusted my saddle on site as only a small bit of work was needed but if more is required he will take it back to his workshop. He was really thorough and explained everything he was doing to me. He is reasonably priced too as charged me £75 but i had a big call out as live just over an hour from where he is. I can totally recommend Alex McCracken, his mobile is 07930423309. We have been very happy with all the saddles he has fitted for us, and even found a jumping saddle for my flat back cob, it wasn’t easy!
 
The only saddler I would trust in Kent is Peter Husband.... and I've had dealings with the others. He used to work for Giddens the Royal saddler and makes saddles etc doesn't just buy them off the peg and fit them like most saddlers nowadays. He's a real craftsmen and very reasonable, think an entire reflock is about £75-£85 ish and that included a follow up visit after the flocking had settled but I'm not far from Hadlow which is closer to him (and not far from you). Think if he comes out and its all ok its about £35 for the call out and the check. His made items are great too, I've had reins, stirrup leathers and a bridle made to measure and have been pleased with them all. PM me if you want his number and good luck
 
Peter Husband is fantastic! Would you pm me the name of the one that your saddler told you to avoid? Just wondering if its the same as teh one I had a bad experience with!
 
Could you PM me the name of the one to avoid too? Planning on buying a new saddle in the next few months and don't want a dodgy fitter!!
