My old girl is feeling her legs today and I'd like to get some pain relief for her . Yumove is not really touching the spot today so until we can get into the vet is there anything I can get from PAH today ?
Can anyone recommend an off the shelf painkiller ?

The only non-prescription one that comes to mind is Pardale, if it's still made?

Does your vet do their own OOH, if so could you ring them and ask them to put something out for you. As they know her history they may be happy to do this.

You won't get it today but Global Herbs Relief is very good, it is boswellia based, similar to alpha bute for horses. I always have some in the house and it very fast acting

That is interesting as our elderly lab has two pardale tabs a day for arthritis and our vet insists that its prescription only.

Next time your vet does that, remind him that Pardale V is classified NFA-VPS and can therefore be supplied by a vet, pharmacist or SQP.
