Can anyone recommend anyone for trailer insurance please?

Hubby is currently insured to tow the trailer under his normal car insurance, but his insurer won't do specific trailer insurance (i.e. to cover theft). Do any companies do separate trailer insurance? His car policy doesn't expire until Jan so can't move the car policy for a while...

Maybe try NFU they will if anybody does.

I think you have to have either your car or your Horse insured with NFU to get your trailer insured, they won't do it seperately. I've got my car with them, and the addition of the trailer was really cheap, plus I've got car and horse-in-trailer breakdown cover with them. The whole thing fully comp is only £34 per month

SEIB - I use them for horse and trailer!

SEIB are good,we insure with them and have also had a claim for a stolen trailer and no probs.
