Last time I had a horse, circa 1970-1978, everyone wore wellingtons to handle horses. This time round, and I've seen mention of yard boots on here.
Today, leading Mollie in from the field, she shied in the gale force wind and trod on my foot. Ouch. No real harm done, as we were on soft ground, but it did bring to my attention the fact that wellies don't protect from injury!
So, I think I'll look for strong boots. What can people suggest please? I am on a low income so will have to try to keep the cost down. However I realise there's no point in buying rubbish which won't do the job.
Any recommendations/ones to avoid please? Thanks!
