Can anyone recommend me a bridle to match the colour of this saddle?

So I'm pretty sure our saddle issues are now sorted, but this means the nice bridle I got for Christmas now doesn't match (totally different, much darker shade of brown). Does anyone know what sort of shade this saddle would be described as, or can recommend a bridle to match? Not looking to spend loads at all, and am after a cavesson bridle, don't really need a flash, but want something more interesting than a hunter bridle!

ETA - Thanks I can see the pic now. It looks like it is 'newmarket' brown but older as it has aged a bit. A new bridle in that colour will be quite bright.

Yes, you need to oil to take the eye-watering brightness out of it. There maybe a newer and better product now, but back in the day I think it was neat's foot oil that was used to slowly darken the leather.

You could have one made and match the colour almost exactly. It doesn't cost as much as you think, certainly no more than a decent off the peg bridle. I've matched bridles to horses several times.

That's a nice chestnutty colour. If only I needed a new bridle as it would look great on my grey beasty with her chestnut fleabites.

I don't trust that seller. I had a martingale on order for over 3 months, and had to claim my money back through Pay Pal.

It really is a nice bridle for the money, soft and supple from day 1. I needed to get shorter cheek pieces for mine, which they sell separately, but my horse is odd in many, many ways!

Yes they do it's the avignon as I have them for my horses, they do darken a bit over time but they are a really lovely colour I think they were only £35 each.

It probably was London tan to begin with but has darkened to more like Newmarket tan. Not that people seem to use the right colour names any more!

OP I'd not advise oiling to darken leather, oil should really only be used on very old dry leather and it causes it to stretch and weaken.
