I'm venturing into the world of dressage with my new-ish horse and so I need some smart new boots, so that I can relegate my Mountain Horse high riders to hacking :).

I am a size 3 1/2 - 4, and can sometimes fit into children's sizes in short boots, although as I have fairly chunky calves (they don't really look it but my MH boots are a 'wide' fitting), I don't think this will be possible with long boots.

I have a budget of about £150 so they would need to be a bit of a bargain - they will only be used for schooling, lessons and eventual competitions. I like the look of Ariat Bromonts (out of my price range though :(), Dublin On Air (though I'm not sure about the quality) and the Mountain Horse Richmond high riders at the moment - although I am open to suggestions.

Thanks in advance, Tash

i got a pair of ariat bromonts in a sale for slightly less than £150 at my local saddlers so you can get a bargain :)
i think someone put a link on here a few days ago to some in a sale for about £150 you might find it if you do a search for them
failing that i got a lovely pair of sergio grasso boots on ebay for about £120 , they were second hand but i love them , they took a little bit of time to get so required a little patience but are well worth it

I did see the Ariat Bromonts in the sale but unfortunately they'd sold out of my size by the time I looked. Have seen them elsewhere in a size four, but the only have the regular fitting left and I don't think it would fit me :(

Will have a look on Ebay as well :)
