Can anyone recommend.........

Can't remember Snowbomb coz I usually grab the first one to hand in our local tack shop. BUT, when spring rolls around and you can wash horsey-o's tail, I would defo recommend Boots own lavender shampoo and separate conditioner! Not only does horsey-o end up smelling like the perfume counter in Debenham's but the tail is HEAVENLY and soft and swishy for ages!!! And no, I don't work in Boots!!!

the best one is carr day & martin, they also make the canter/gallop range, it has a pinkish label on it and it leaves tails soft and mud resistant but not sticky or greasy

Canter or the Lynn Russell Net-tex one - the bottle from the Lynn Russell one, and the sprayer last for ages should you want to refill them too! I use the bottle/sprayer for fly repellent too as it's a very quiet spray.

Have used Canter Mane and Tail spray for years, having a horse with full mane and tail. Lasts for a few days in the muddiest conditions so mud brushes out easily leaving it silky soft (I also use a 'paddle' hair brush from Boots as it doesn't pull the hair out like some horsey combs do). Tried Cowboy Magic and it leaves hair very soft and silky but not great mud protection....good for shows though. Also Canter comes in a big size which lasts me 5 or 6 months so IMO it's pretty good value.

We use either the Canter one or Net- Tex Pure Silk one- both are really good, and we also use paddle brushes to brush their tails out.
