Can anyone settle my nerves for surgery please!

My old mare is off up to Western Counties vets next Tuesday for an op to remove a granulosa cell tumour. She's just spent nearly 5 months on boxrest with controlled exercise for a fractured splint bone (this is when we discovered the tumour was the reason). She is a total dear and is a very precious homebred of my Mums, who sadly passed away last month. I'm sick with nerves that something will go wrong but I know for her quality of life she needs it removed.

I'm sure she will be fine, mine had one removed a couple of years ago and is a real poppet again and doing BE again. Lots of vibes for you.

am sure she will be fine, mine had hers done last september at leahurst. She had to be there 48 hrs before to be starved for standing op. and was home 2 days after the op. She recovered well and was back in work 6 weeks later.
