Can anyone still do Round-the-World???

Yes I tried it a few months ago. I was as far as facing the wrong way on Ronnie when the dog agility people arrived outside and made a tremendous noise and Ronnie took off across the school

Thank god they didn't see me through the windows as I was facing the wrong way. I can't even imagine how I would have explained that one.

I donn't think I could do scissors on my saddle - cantle too high!

I have done the rolling off backwards from Ronnie though - you know when you sit sideways and then hold pommel and cantle and flip your legs over. Only thing is, saddles seem much smaller now (am refusing to accept my bum has grown that much in the last 20 years!!

Yep! Remember it and can still do it. Taught my daughter to do it not long ago and had to demonstrate. She didn't think 48yo dad should be doing or be capable of such things.

QR - I could do round the world and half scissors and thread the needle up until recently but I haven't tried in the last couple of years. I've never been able to do full scissors.

However, up until recently I could also mount and dismount from the ground on either side - and I can't now. What a difference three years has made to my agility. I hate getting old

Haven't done the that in years! The only pony I can ride ATM is the Shettie and I'm sure I wouldn't be able to lift my legs over her! I would probably bump her on the bum and she would take off at full pelt, as she always does
