Animal or human?
If its animals you're after, I cant remmber the name of th one Iv used only that it was an orange cover and pretty good. Bar that, when I go back to college Il have a look at the nutrition texts in the library and let you know which ones we were recommended. Actually I may have a recommended reading list on my old 2nd yr nutrition lectures. Il pull them out later and have a look. One of my housemates is studying nutrition this year and has a few books lying around so I could give you the name(s) of those when I get back - but as I said Im not back to college til the 21st. Hope that can be of help. =)

Can recommend Equine Nutrition by Dr Derek Cuddeford, A very good book that I have somewhere! He also writes for magazines, some of the local feebies in the tack shop.

Ah found it, this book covers just about everything and is not a complicated read. I used it for a short course on Nutrition a few years ago.

I have met him at D&H nutrition roadshows in the past, he is very knowledgable on this subject and well worthwhile seeing if he is lecturing, he has a sense of humour and can address the ordinary person and the scientist, quite a feat!

Other very readable authors are Susan McBane and Julie Brega (Open College of Equestrian Studies).

When you get going, for more complex research results try the Kentucky Equine Research website. I think they are now aligned with Baileys.
