Can anyone suggest

You could try Malpas (just over the border and 3 miles from us, where OH builds the course) it's mid July this year. Very natural type course, hedges, water splash, rails etc. Hannah Bates and Ian Golding use it a lot (amongst a lot of other well knowns!)

Erm I am not an eventer but I am in worcestershire! I think Hillocks Farm and Sapey which are both this way have intro courses?? someone may correct me if im wrong.....

Pontispool (Somerset) is lovely - I did it at my green horses first intro and it jumped well. Nice galloping course and not at all twisty which helps. I went back and did a RC ODE and the intro course was being used in the 2'6-2'9 class. Twiggy swears by Broadway (Worcs) and says its always a great starting point course as SJ is nice and so is xc. Only thing to watch out for is a fit horse as hilly.

Oh Broadway sounds nice, fit horse isn't a problem, this thing has about 10 gears and we have ample 'killing' hills around here for fittening! Just have to do some xc schooling as he's only ever seen 4'3ft hedges!

Looked on eventriders.co.uk I prefer Pontispool and Stafford to Broadway.

Forgot to add Belmont which has an intro course for first time this year so would have thought it would be nice as parkland.

Mount Ballan also has an intro course for first time and its usually a really well constructed course and cleverly designed. Plus the Sj is in the derby arena which is fun.

Sapey is very inviting although sometimes cancelled if weather bad. Broadway is good but balloted in the autumn as everyone found out how nice it is!!

Have heard Cleobury is nice too.
