Trying to create a stable for when senor colic actually does arrive home, but the rubber mat world is too much for my frazzled brain.

For a 14.2 fit Connemara, 415kg.
Must be moveable.

Please help!! I just nearly bought 12mm which would have been ?too thin??

Thanks xx

EVA, as thick as you can afford, 32mm, or an inch is good for the money. I bought them in batchs off ebay from different suppliers and they are all a like apart from the thickness. I have down sized so I have just sold some them for roughly what I paid for them, they are nearly a third more expensive now. Also sold my Lodddon stables in a week, winter must be coming.

I like the quatrosoft mats. Easy to pick up and put down compared to the rubber cow mats. I use the 32mm on the bed area and the 24mm at the standing area in the stables.

I had equimats for approximately 20 years and they were great but had come to the end of their life, i looked at getting the same but they’re £££ and I think they are in administration 🙁 I bought some 24mm Ark EVA mats, fitted them well, the next morning my horse had nearly put a hole in the 2 front mats!! They were advertised as suitable for a small horse, mine is a 470kg Arab, they did refund me but weren’t particularly helpful, didn’t apologise AND i had to clean them and repackage to send them back!!
