of an insurance company which insures healthy and hunting fit older horses? our 19 yearold is with theNFU but we are not happy with what they are offering as he gets older.

I think pet plan do a veteran policy, I belive it doesn't cover loss of use, but does cover 3rd party/vets fees etc?
We have also found Julie Andrews good for enquires for things other than your usual insurance packages. Never claimed so don't know what they would be like for that, but worth seeing if they could at least cover you?
Other than that, BHS gold and a savings account - depends on how breakable he is!

Petplan can provide a veteren policy with plenty of bells and whistles!
I looked at loads for Markie (also 19), NFU were expensive for what they provided but have a good name, E&L provided a similar package, far less cost than NFU but have a bit of a bad name. SEIB were similar to Petplan.
