For over 3 years she has been called 'Summer' and now I have started competing again since her injury I was thinking of entering her with a more fancy name!

She is 'Sinta' on her passport- but please don't refer to this as it is in fact dutch for santa :O ! (shes from holland), so no point me saying it but it is quite funny :)

Here are some pictures of her.. so a name relating to summer somehow, shes 8 1/2 year old 14.2hh connie x warmblood

Thankyou for the suggestions keep them coming! some suit her really well :)
She is a pretty girl, used to be so easy to keep clean she never rolled or anything but now she's discovered that autumn = big slushy mud puddles :( ! shes in a combo rug so she normally comes in with a brown head and legs lol

Sinta is not a Dutch word, just a pretty name.
Sinterklaas is Santa Claus in dutch and the closest dutch word is Sint which means saint.

She is a very pretty pony - how about Summer Sinata or Sinta Summer Gold.

Let us know what her show name becomes.

She's actually Buckskin not Dun - they are very differnt. Beautiful mare, how about 'Summer Breeze' or 'Summer loving'?

Dammit! Blooming changes to flipping colours! When I was a kid she would have been a dun! :D

Anyway, how about 'Buck the Trend' instead....or 'Buckskin Summer Sun'?

Thank you everyone there are some I really love! I'm going to list them all and narrow it down (but keep more coming if you can possibly think of any more!) I always thought Sinta was dutch for santa... that is nice to know that my pony isnt registered as santa!

Her colour does cause confusion- someone asked me what colour she was today and i said buckskin (thankyou H+H for correcting me ;) ) and the woman stared at me blankly until i said 'like dun' and felt like i sounded patronizing- oh dear

Summer Breeze

Summer's Golden Sun or Summer Gold

Summer Sunset

Summer Romance or Romantic Summer

Summer Girl or Charley's Summer Girl

Indian Summer

Summer Dreams

Riviera Summer

Song of Summer or Summers Sweet Song

Charley, Dun is the colour of evolution in horses, all horses were originally dun.
true Duns have a dark , usually black dorsal stripe, black points fading into stripes as they get higher. Buckskins do not have the dorsal stripe but may have dark points. Coat colur remains dull sand in the dun, varies greatly in Buckskins From pale sand to palomino shades, always with black mane and tail. BTW she is really lovely. :)
