I want to know the weight of my old Ifor trailer but the writing is in German I think! - Can anyone tell me what this says?

I THINK it weighs 1400 kg unladen. I could be wrong though.

I suspect you might be right - surely 2,700 Kg would be too much but are German Kg's the same as ours?

Oops just seen it says made in Germany!! - I thought Ifors were Welsh!

Definitely unladen weight 1400kg, think the 2700kg bit refers to max laden weight.

You could try Babel Fish for a translation. At this point I am embarrassed to say my mother is 1/2 German and I can't read or speak much at all.

The 100kg refers to the maximum drawbar weight, which i believe is how much "sits" on the towball, but don't hold me to that!

So its 1400 kg - bugger I was hoping it would only be 1000kg but it has had it's wooden floor recently replaced with an aluminium one, so I guess its a bit lighter!
