I need to find out the width between the panels at the front of the saddle (not d-d!) in an XW (one which is 9" D-D).

Don't know if this is any help. I have a Thorowgood Griffin that is 10" D to D. It is 5 and a half inches at the narrowest point between the panels.

Definitely helpful thank you. My old saddle was 7" d-d but 5" between the panels so I think this will be too narrow. Much appreciated!
