Can BS/BD/BE rider checks be wrong?

I have had someone to ride my horse, who has said they competed in BSJA juniors taking their horse to JA, and has also competed up to Medium BD and Intermediate BE.

I questioned this so phoned the relevant people who have all said she has never even been registered?

What shall I do?

Ask if they have been known as any other name whilst competeing as when you did a background check, they were'nt found?

I know how you feel, it is annoying...
I had a girl come over for an interview (riding groom) who claimed to have been junior national champion in SJ in Poland, well, she has not done her research properly before coming, as it happens I am Polish and quickly worked it out she couldn't have been as I have seen all the finals in the years she would have been a junior
I didn't have the heart (or the hunger for an awkward situation) to confront her about it...
