Can cows spread pneumonia to horses

Is it possible for cattle to spread pneumonia to a horse?

As I know it spreads through the herd but not sure about infecting a horse.

Assuming you mean bacterial/viral infection (pneumonia is a symptom, rather than a disease), but yes, they can. They'd have to be in close enough proximity to breathe in the droplets of a cough, though, containing the infectious agent.

Exactly what I was going to say- pneumonia is not one single disease, it can be a symptom of many different contagious diseases so it would depend what that underlying cause is, but it is highly unlikely
