I have no idea how it happened
Oh, who am I trying to kid. I know exactly how it happened.
Lenny's been with me for about a week now and it's as if he's always been here. He gets on well with my others so that's one less thing to worry about when it comes time for them to go out in the fields again.
This is him - he's a 7yo ISH gelding, about 16.2hh (so I can get on him without having to get my stepladder out of the lorry
).
He's a bit fat and unfit so as of yesterday he's been put on a diet.
I've already gotten some of my jumping confidence back and we survived being thrown in the deep end on our first hack this morning. Let's just say that I'm glad I had a neck strap.
I have a few aims for this year but I don't want to push things just yet. I think I'll wait to see how our first lesson goes next week just in case it's a disaster.
Thanks for reading.
