Yes she will be fine, I used to compete in small hunter classes/working hunters with a horse who lived out 24/7 cos he couldn't be stabled Good luck for tomorrow!

yes i do it! our stables are miles from our summer grazing so they are out 24/7 in the summer. I novice event mine from the field! not literally, by the time I have bathed (coloured horse!), plaited and loaded lorry this is 2 hours off grass plus the journey there and course walking time. I have had to work this way for the last 13 years with no detriment to my horses(infact they are all happy and healthy this way), though our dressage friends are horified that a competition horse lives in a field!

Good luck!

Ah yes, I get that too: you can't event off the field! Apparently the horse doesn't know that, and appears to be fine about it

lets hope that no one tells them then!!! as i am sure alot of people manage their horses this way for one reason or another!

I hope no-one tells him, for the first 5 years of his life he lived out all year, it's only now he gets to come in at night in the winter! It's so much easier having them out 24/7 (although having a bay does make it easier), mind you I am hating the poo-picking at the moment.

All mine are out 24/7 and one cronic box walker cannot be brought in at all, and yes all of them are shown from grass!
