Can horses eat cabbage leaves?

Hi all,

Was just wondering, can horses eat raw cabbage leaves?

I have loads of cabbages in my garden. Just cleaned one to eat for dinner tonight and nearly threw away the outside leaves. Can horses eat them?

mine does and cauliflower and actually any number of other garden veg.. he also has a penchant for onions.

All in strict moderation tho

Our ponies used to though my old horse would eat all round them and leave the cabbage, even the smallest bit, behind as some sort of statement I think.
