Just tidying up my herb garden and chopping out some mint for the ponies. The sage has really overgrown but don't know if I can give this the ponies?

Yes they can eat sage.
It's a really good restorative, antiseptic and uterine stimulant and can also be used to dry up milk.... So I would not advise giving it to pregnant mares or super excitable horses but otherwise it is fine for them to eat :)
