Can horses get exzema? (sp)

My horse has just been diagnosed with Exzema on his nose, Vet recommended putting E45 cream on it for a few days, it helped a lot. Savlon works even better for my horse.

Think so, well a dermatitis anyway. We got some fab gel stuff from our vet last year, it's called fuciderm / fucidin (think fuciderm as fucidin's a human one I think!). Anyway, I used it on his v v sore nose (buttercups Ithe cause) and it's fab and I am going t ring the to see if they'll give me some more this year in case it flares up again!

In a word, yes

. My lad had it on his legs. It took years to correctly diagnose, and then only after moving overseas.

I have a super vet, who is licenced to produce his own remedies. The Cob receives an injection every six months and he's now free from the horrid sore patches, and the incessant itching.
