Totally random question...!!
My Una has got quite weepy eyes at the moment, the eyelids are swollen and she is doing a bit of head shaking so its obviously bothering her. They are not weeping loads, but it is pretty obvious and she has crusty bits on her face from it! I was wondering if it was the flies as she does tend to get a bad reaction to fly bites and comes out in lumps. I have put a fly mask on her to see if that helps. I have an appointment with the vet but as its not an emergency they said they cant see her til friday afternoon so whilst I wait for that, I thought i'd ask if anyone had seen this in other horses? It almost looks like hayfever, you know when peoples eyes get all swollen and red? Its weird... Other horse is absolutely fine so i think its probably not anything in the field.
