After reading some seriously heart breaking threads on here, I always say goodbye to Ned like I might not see him tomorrow. I make sure it's the very last thing I do before I leave the yard.
Also, because I didn't say goodbye to Mel, Blobby, Dancer or Archie properly before they died. I will never forgive myself for that.

Yes I always give mine lots of cuddles and 'goodnights'. Sometimes even get in the car to go, then go back into the yard to say goodnight again.
