I need some get well vibes please.... well not me, one of my friends at the yard!

Turned up at the yard today to ride Horlicks, and when I walked towards the yard she's stabled, I could here some load noise, like machiney noise. Looked across the field and saw the Essex Air Ambulancein the field along with a Paramedic car and Ambulance!! I felt sick to the stomach!

I asked one of the girls what was happening and she said the girl was walking around the field on her horse and she spooked side ways, and my friend went out the side door and landed on her head!! She was ok to start with, but then dramatically detrirated (sp) and started being sick and was really not with it, so they got the Essex Air Ambulance out to rush her to hospital as a precaution!!

I couldn't believe it, and it really made me feel ill, just the thought of it happening to someone I know!!

Her mare is a very sweet mare, who generally isn't spooky, but something made her jump (a car I think?) and my friend just wasn't ready for it!! I'm hoping to find out later how she is.... {{{{{ VIBES }}}}}

I hope all the people who ride WITHOUT a hat on, read this, and thing twice about get on their horse with no headgear!!

It was a big shock! I had seen her on Weds and we had both said that if we are both around this morning, then we would go out for a plod around the field together before I go off to school, as her mare is not allowed to be doing any more than walk at the moment, and think she was getting a bit lonely/bored walking out on her own al the time!

Things like this you only ever hear about, you never actually experience it!!!
