Sorry to hijack, I have a Welsh section a I'm hoping to show in hand ( just local stuff, for fun) but he's been diagnosed with cushings so may end up clipped all year round, depending how his treatment goes.
Is this a big no-no? His mane and tail are kept as nature intended :D

Fine for local shows I think, I took my late girl to a show, it rained all blooming day, she qualified for the veteran horse championship in the South west or something like similarly named that day, I was unbelievably proud, she was very much clipped as you can see, it was an irish clip and very obvious

Another hijacker - just a quick question! (excuse me for my lack of knowledge on this!)

We were thinking about showing Red in hand this year - we think he is a Welsh B, but his breeding is completely unknown - does this limit the classes (if any) that we can enter?
