Can i get some vibes please?

For Megan, one of my Degus.

She was beaten up this morning by another Degu in her cage.

Totally out of the blue and they had never fought before.

She has just been to the vets and we have some pain killers for her but we are struggling to keep her warm and her going into shock is a real concern.

She has a hot water bottle in her cage that she is lying on and i have put my super friendly male youngster DB in with her to keep her company and he is doing a great Florence Nightingale impression!

She is only 9 weeks old..
The vet has said we are doing all we can but shock could get the better of her.

Vibes please - i know how powerful these HHO vibes can be!

If i remember rightly degus are like a cross between a Guinea Pig and a Rat, so i was told at Hartpury

They are Chilean squirrels!
Smaller than a chinchilla, but related to chinchillas so they look similar.

if you have got any batryll give her some of that by syringing it into her mouth, it works wonders with our animals at work, we had had a couple of degus this past few months at deaths door, we isolated them, put them by the heater and gave them baytrll and they have made a full recovery.

just out of interest, do any of yours suffer from cateraxe (sp?) we have two that are as blind as a bat with it but they are very happy as they know there cages inside out.

Where can i get batryll from?

No none of ours have cataracts but we are really careful with their diets so they dont have any sugar apart from 1 raisin a fortnight each as a treat.
They get Diabetes so easily bless them.
