V bad day. I lost my belly button bar, broke my phone and chipped my tooth. Then I had a really bad lesson where horse no 1 was just naughty, bucking, spooking and refusing to go forwards. I did what I could, finished my lesson and trudged down the field to find horse no 2....... rolling in the pond, with his rug round his legs, shredded and with the stuffing coming out of it, he looks like a monster from the black lagoon and his rug is beyond repair

Wow, we've normally fixed rugs that were "beyond repair" but I think that one has well and truly had it!

On the bright side I think you've had your bad luck for the week!

He's got to stay in tomorrow now as he doesn't have another rug! I think bathing him is the only way - if thats the photo of the rug, just imagine what he looks like! The front buckles were on his withers, one surcingle round his legs and the leg straps nowhere to be seen
