Well after a pants year or so - two horses PTS, knee operated on from a bad riding accident, having to change jobs... things are on the up - knee healed, new job and now.... NEW HORSE!!! I've found a lovely lovely lad to come and have some fun and love with me, subject to his vetting on Monday!!! :-)

He's a 16hh 5yr old TB exracer, who is as my friend who came with me said 'just the job'. I was riding him whilst my youngster Luca was being backed as he was at the yard I'd sent Luca to and they wanted to get me 'back in the saddle' and I had a ton of fun on him... after looking at a few others I couldn't get the cheeky lad out of my head, spoke to Jules who agreed he was a good fit for me, and if he passes on Monday he'll be all mine... So a nice chocolate horlicks to everyone or a glass of bubbly to celebrate...

Here's to Borris and Jules who've restored my faith in horses, and all my friends for holding my hand through all this!!

Laura - thanks!!! I really hope Monay goes well - he's no world beater but really honest and fun - just what the Dr ordered... oh and Borris by name Borris by nature!! How are you getting on with Herbie now? xx
 
Looks arn't everything.
Herbie has had about two weeks off :(. I've been to buisy trying to cram all my work in due to the bank holiday and i also worked over the bank holiday. The other problem is he is turned out in the water meadow that Lucy was in and he won't cross the river and it's been to deep for me to cross :mad: :mad:. The river has gone down a bit so hopefuly he'll be in for a shock next week when i can cross it and get the little monster in. :p Thanks for asking.

MrsM - Thanks for firmly crossing things, I've been banned from buying anything by Jules incase I jinx it... lol... I've got a good feeling about this one...
