Hello barefoot mafia
!!!!*
I have come for some cc on my mares hooves!*
She's an 8 year old welsh a, hasn't done any roadwork until recently and has always had rock hard little feet, never had a crack/chip in the 3 years I've owned her.*
She had laminitis about 18 months ago now so is already on a low sugar/high fibre diet, she has fast fibre and a multi vitamin supplement.
Her hooves don't grow particularly fast she only usually needs the farrier every 10-12 weeks and she was last trimmed 2 weeks ago.
She has never had shoes, and I don't plan to change that just wanted an opinion on the condition of them now and what i can do to keep them this way now she will be out on the roads alot more.
Thanks

RF - her soles are pretty good, sounds like shes wearing shoes on concrete!
