can i have some famous HHO vibes please

i got the dreaded phonecall yesterday morning, axle had tried to cut his hoof off, i left work and went straight to the yard, my poor fella had managed to cut from the front of his pastern round to the heel, the front being quite deep, we rang the vets who im registered with, and they said they couldnt come out til Thursday!!!!! i told her this was a emergency and the response ooh well we could possibly get their wednesday night but i cant promise, well i wont be calling them again, useless so and so's
luckily a friend gave me their number for their vets and despite coming from a fair few miles away they were actually in the area, but i had to pay cash up front, so hence me making a mad dash for the bank, the vet arrived, it looks like he has just missed the tendon in the front of his leg, stitched him up, put him on realy strong anti-biotics which are £30 a day!, box rest, two 10 minutes walk a day and bandage to be changed daily and he will be back on friday as he will be able to tell more whether the tendon is damaged or not
so can i please have some of the famous HHO vibes that we have had a amazing near miss and hes only broken the skin
and by the way the vets said this looks to be a barbed wire cut, ive checked the field and cant find any but the grass is so long it could be lurking underneath, so please be aware of what barbed wire can do

What a shocker your vet is......I'd put a complaint in about that if I were you.

I think that is absolutely dreadful from your vets. I would definately make a complaint. How awful of them (or the receptionist!!!).

I can't believe your vets!!! I thought is deep cuts were not stitched up within 24 hrs, they would never be able to be stitched therefore, had to heal the without the aid of stitching?

Hope horsey is better and back on his feet soon!! (excuse the pun!!)
