my 9 month old jack russell was stood on by a horse at the yard 2nite, freak accident where she was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got stomped on by a very excitable horse! rushed her to the vets as the fact she was sceaming sugested something was going on, we think its broken, she staying at the vets house 2nite on fluids and pain relief to get her through the shock then x-rays 2moro when shes stable, im in bits, i love her so much and to see her in pain was just awfull. some of yours famous vibes will be greatly apreciated!

Aw what a shame. My Matty dog was trodden on by a rather large horse when she was a pup. She broke 2 toes but man, you would have thought she was being tortured the noise she made.
As yard dogs they have to learn to stay out of the way, although, of course, we do keep a beady eye on them as well.
Hope she's OK and back with you tomorrow.

I am sure she will be fine and on the mend very soon.

With her being young she will bounce back in no time (my old girl broke her leg at a similar age and lived to 14, sound as a pound)

M is right, they do make such an awful noise sometimes, but I bet you she will make a full recovery x

Aw poor pup! I am sure she's be fine though. I stood on my sister's friend's dog's foot the other day - Jesus you'd have though I was torturing it so it's 10 times worse when a horse does it!

I'm sure she'll feel sorry for herself for a bit, get spoiled by you and forget all about it!

Poor little dog ((((vibes)))) for puppy and ((((hugs)))) for you. Jack Russells might be small but they are little sturdy dogs. Fingers crossed all ok. Please let us know how she is tomorrow.

Poor little pup, sending loads of vibes to her. I had a 7 week old GSD pup broke her leg, just days before she was due to go to her new home. The screaming was pitiful, but she made a full recovery and seemed to enjoy having a plaster on to bop the other pups with.
