Little lady was doing so well being turned out in the sand pen and her treatment for laminitis seemed to be going really well. She had been sound for 3 weeks now.
Got down this evening and she wasn't weight bearing fully on her front left leg :(:(:(.
Staff said she was fine to muck out this morning and was happy on her feet. However when I got there at 4pm she was pretty lame on it in walk.
Put her straight back in stable and massive bed. She seemed to be much more happier on it as the night went on and can walk fine on her bed.
I really feel defeated tonight, everytime the vet comes each month she goes worse :( it feels like I can't prove her soundness to the vet!:(:(:(:(
Yesterday she had another vet out to do her teeth and he felt her pulses and said they were normal and that she looked well.
Sad rant over :(

(((hugs))) hunny. Remember, you don't need to prove anything to the vet - you know she has been sound for 3 weeks. Just take his professional advice to help her come right again. They will not be judging you. Hope she picks up again soon.

I know it shouldn't bother me, I just feel like the vet is starting to give up slightly on her ever being paddock sound :(
One step forward...two steps back it always seems to be.
