How much would you pay for a 4yr old cob roughly 14.1hh, lightly backed last year and started again this year?

If you want more info to give a opinion please say and i will give it, I haven't put too much just because I don't want to people to think im trying to advertise (which im not)
 
a lot depends on temperament, what he has done (if anything) is he calm safe etc,

pics?

If nothing special I would say no more than £1200 to £1500
 
Would love more info but can PM if you want, can you say if its hacked out, proven sane (as sane as a lightly backed horse can be), been to any parties inhand or ridden etc? :)
 
sat on last year, very short walks in the school/round the yard. Over winter just long-reined, lunged and taken out on hacks (lead of another horse) so used to all traffic, buses, cars, tractors bikes etc.
Recently started to be ridden again, short hacks in walk with another horse and alone. Walk and trot in the school, walking over poles, never bucked or reared with a rider. Had a accidental canter out on a hack when another rider cantered past him in a field as she couldn't stop.
Can be naughty bringing in from the field alone but can lead out to the field alone and leave in the field and yard alone fine.
Can't put any pics on til this evening.
 
This will probably sound really harsh but I personally wouldn't pay more than £800 unless said horse had cracking conformation.

I expect lots of people would pay much more for him, It is only my opinion based on the current climate as you can pick up youngsters for very little money at the moment.
 
Age is on his side... as it stands, personally I wouldn't pay more than £1200 for him. But I reckon, once your done with him and if you do a good job you could sell him for 2 - 2.5k.

If hes safe, he will be in demand!

The type of pony you have were only making btwn £500 & £800 at the sales. I have a 5yo 16.1hh who loads, catches, reg, mc'd, etc. Has been and done a dressage test, & now started jumping with a rider. Has not stopped once & went XC for the first time jumping ditches, banks without any problems. I have been offered 2k for him, if he went into the sale ring I maybe lucky to get £1500. Prices are rock bottom at the moment.
