Can I have your thoughts on this horse please.

Very smart. Can't tell a thing really though about it's confo as pics aren't good enough.

Sounds fun though.
 
Virtually impossible to say, It has a nice head..? Joints look very "big" behind but can't really see much more than that as photos are so rubbish. I'd like to see it jump and naked for that price (I realise that sounds pervy but you know what I mean!). Y'see this is why you should have space for 3 pictures PC website!!
 
No I appreciate they are not the best pictures in the world, but just to get an idea if he was put together well, or had any obvious faults.

Then, in addition to the big joints I'd say over at the knee too (might be the way the pony is standing of course). Also looks a bit hollow in the flank (hopefully not now though as pic taken in winter). I'd say go and see or ask for better pics first if it's very far?

Sorry that sounds very negative! It is a nice looking pony and is probably super if all the details are correct.

Hocks and fetlocks BUT it could be the angle as he's not stood square or side on, see this is why more pictures are good in adverts because if something looks weird in one pic you can look at the others to double check.
 
Thanks for all the comments, you had pretty much confirmed what I had already thought, but didn't know if I was seeing things that were not there.

Yes he does sound a lovely horse, but I would want a horse that is put together well, if that makes sense.

He is not a million miles away, but I don't want to waste their time if on looks alone I don't think he is right - hope that makes sense!.
 
Why not just ask them to send you some more photos, and specify that you would like a good naked, square, confo shot :)
 
Puppy- I have asked for a side confo shot, but all I get is more photo's with tack on and not sideways, and the faults I think I can see are still there.:rolleyes:

BTW - what happened with the other bay gelding you were going to see? :)
 
No idea about confo, but what do you want the pony for? Reading into it, it doesn't sound like it jumps... (except "hunting" but then any refuser will follow other horses!). I also think its overpriced looking at its competition experience which doesnt go into much detail.
