Can I mix mtg with other products?

Use some mtg on my mare’s mane where her rug was rubbing her during the spring. I usually make a spray of water and conditioner as a leave in treatment for her mane to keep it nice but I was just wondering if I could mix a drop of the mtg in with the conditioner water mix or is it a bad idea?

Mtg is a mane tail and hair growth serum that you can put in rubbed manes or manes with sweet itch to promote quicker hair growth, and then SI is sweet itch

I don’t typically - I use it towards the evening when it’s not as sunny or hot and I wouldn’t use it on a very hot day. It has oils in it so can cause a bit of sunburn!

Please everyone be VERY careful with MTG; there was a horrible case on FB recently where a horse had got into an awful state because of it. The skin of it was like it had been flayed, just dreadful. The manufacturers of the product are an American based company, and the owner had tried to sue but without success.

If you don't know what it is, then better not to know basically!

This is not the only time I've heard of it causing a huge allergic reaction either. Sadly.

I have it for manes but didn't realise it could be used for sweet itch.

Is it just for regrowth or does it soothe bitten skin?
