Can I put human insect repellant on my horse?

None of his fly repellents seem to be working, but my jungle formula insect repellant is pretty good on so far for me.
It contains isobutane, n-butane, alcohol deat, propane, n-butyl, n - acetyl, 3 ethyl ainopropionate, dipropylene, fragrance.
Is any of that harmful to horses?

I tried Jungle formula on my old pony, and it was useless!

I use Autan sticks to do my horses ears, belly buttons, surgery scars, and the bits on their belly seam where they weren't sewn together properly.

Try naf deet, but make sure you give it a good shake immediatly before you apply otherwise you will spray on water!

Another vote for Power Phaser, its excellent. (But if you find your human stuff works then I am sure it wont cause any problems!)

I've used avon skin so soft around the eyes and nostrils safetly.

I use DEET on my horse's mane and tail. I also spray it on my breeches. I have no idea if this works, but it makes me feel like I'm at least doing something! Horse mosquito sprays just don't seem to work.

Any fly spray contain DEET will reply flies. You do however need to be very careful with fly sprays that contain higher levels of DEET in them as it will make any fabric other than pure cotton disintigrate. Also be very careful around sensitive ares and do not inhale as the fumes are very harsh and can cause respiratory problems. Make sure you wash yoru hands after using as you aor your horse would not want to ingest any DEET by accident.

Dog farts are known to kill all living organisms on the same level, within a 3m radius.

Have given up with all repellants, although I will use up the one I have. Chloe has done much better since I left the fly rug on, despite my concerns about her getting hot in it. Must admit, I did consider using Jungle Formula on her lady bits.
