Can I ride in these?

Someone has brought me a pair of these to keep me warm when on the yard but do you think they are ok to ride in?

They're fairly loose and I can move freely in them.

Depends on seams (particularly of the lining I imagine), slipperiness of saddle & trousers fabric and how you and horse/tack fit together. I ride more than one horse, some in more than one saddle... and occasionally adjust outfits accordingly.

I have ridden in my snowboarding trousers, the only thing to be slightly aware of is that they slip a little if they are lined so I wouldn't try complicated schooling where your seat is an issue

Give it a go. I ride in most things including my work clothes. Only thing I really struggle with is skirts. Oh and the wrong under pants. Doesn't matter what trousers if the undercrackers are wrong.
