This is my daughters youngster, he is 3 years, 9 months. He's just returning to work after the winter off (was backed last summer and turned away).
I am 12 1/2 stone, and I know once fully matured he will carry me easily.
I am just a little concerned about his age and because he is still growing.
He's pushing 16 hands, so not a little lad, no idea on his current weight.
I really don't want to take any chances, he's my daughters pride and joy and she has worked so hard to make him the wonderful horse he is.
I am not wanting to do much, just a potter about, a hack around the farm.
My own pony is the same age and only 14 hands so there is no way I'll get on her until I lose weight, I've lost 1/2 stone this month but feel I need to lose 2 more before I can ride her.
Fed up of not riding
So what do people think?
Sorry, I know this is asked a lot, but sometimes people need an independent opinion that's not biased or blinkered in anyway.
Thanks
