can i ride???

Better than the whole thread going though :D

I feel so darn sorry for this girl. Imagine being 14 and sitting in front of your computer screen and getting abuse from adults. Bless her, she never retaliates and is always polite. I intend to help her whenever I can, and I doubt I am alone in that decision.

Yes me too, i have a young daugher and would hope that people wouldnt do what has been done to this poor girl. And if it did happen i would hope that other people would stick up for her!
I will not hesitate to report people again that bully her its been disgusting the ways shes been treated, not only on this thread but all of hers!!
At the end of the day, shes a teenager with a horse and obviously not much help at her stables so shes come on here, im sure these people that bully her would be the first to critisise if she didnt ask and went straight ahead with things that were possibly wrong.
Ive seen videos of her riding and jumping and although shes not perfect (who is) shes rides well enough and her horse looks well, so she cant be doing that bad!! :)

PMSL at all the deleted posts that have been quoted & are still visable !

Me too! I never report people - pointless IMO. With so many people using this forum, you will get clashes of characters and those who think other people are bullying etc. And BTW, getting thrown off the forum doesn't achieve anything - they can come back (because yes there are ways to get round the IP thingy!).

Anyway - OP I would say no dont ride. Better to be safe than sorry. It is very annoying but you want to get rid ASAP and not let it linger.

true, but its much nicer for it to die down when reported than to carry on for 20 pages like it sometimes does XD

i can completely understand why she says no rubbish! so many times there are people that instead of giving constructive criticism affectively go "you're a terrible horse person and really stupid for even asking such a silly question" there's nothing inflammatory about this post, its just people that see it that way, i agree that if you don't like what you read just ignore it and leave the thread :) much easier for everyone, but a lot of people on here clearly love a good argument XD

Well I missed all the toy throwing on this thread.
Reckon your pretty thick skined BSJAshowjumper123.

I can be a cowbag at times, must be my age....
anyway, my 2 pence - sounds like you dont have to long to wait now.
Just wait until you have a decent covering of hair. (on your horse - not you.......lol)

I Missed everything at the beginning too, but after reading through the thread afterwards, all i can say is i know exactly how you feel :(
Were you there when it all kicked off for me? Just remember sitting behind my computer reading all these hurtful comments through blurry eyes, but then there were the nice people who stuck up for me and actually offered help.
Must be worse as your only 14, i was 17 when i got it all.
I Actually had people planning on stalking me
Stay tough girly :) xx
