I am 5'10 (just under) slim and weigh 9st7 - would i look daft on a 14.3 welsh d?
Can i see pics of people over 5'9 on welshy/cobbys 14.3 and under please!

I'm pretty much exactly the same height & weight, and used to loan a 14.1hh welshy. Fun times!
I rode short & he was fairly wide, which helped. Perhaps not the prettiest picture but didn't look too bad (at least I didn't think so!), so wouldn't have thought you'd look daft on a 14.3hh at all.

I don't think you'll look anywhere near as daft as I do. I'm 5'4" and I ride a 17.2.
Welshys are quite stocky I wreckon you'll look fine x

Well Im 5'9 and a 'stocky' build. Mels is supposed to be 14.2, but I dont think she is quite that, I think I look bigger on her in pics than I do in real life, but heres a couple anyway! For what its worth, I think you will look fine on a 14.3!!

Here you go, I am 5'9" and 13 ish stone (on a good day!). I ride my very wide, 14 hand traditional cob (I always throught he was 14.2 until I measured him yesterday 
) Because he is so broad he takes my leg up and I don't think I look to big on him, he carries me easily

I am sure you wll be fine I am 5'9" and my lad was 14.3hh in the picture in my siggy.
I feel fine on him although he is now 15hh and still growing.
Welsh cobs take up the leg length because they are wide so no problem.
