A horse i've had my eye on for a while has just come up for sale :D He's a shire x warmblood, 4 yrs old and currently stands at 17.3  I've been offered first refusal, and i would really love to buy him, but someone mentioned to me that he probably won't stop growing till he's about 6 and will be more prone to joint problems and such. Anyway, lets see some pics of your giants :)

Hi

Both horses have never had soundness problems to date...... (still in touch with Harvey's 'new' owners)

17.2 3/4 tb 1/4 hanovarian. 7yo but no soundness problems (except had a bruised sole in the summer )
Personally if the horses conformation is good I would be less concerned about soundness problems but I would be very careful to check his/her wind as big horses ( including mine who had to have a very sucessful hobday and tieback ) often develop larangeal paralysis.

I bought my lad when he was just 5 and stood 17.3. He is 8 now and he is 18.1. He is also a shirexwb. He is fantastic on the ground but too sharp for me to ride so he is on loan WVTB abd he is doing brillinatly with her, no injuries or problems so far.
