When I went to see my hairy little beastie he was a mass on knots and feather cowering in the back of a stable
, the dealer had got him part of a job lot and didn't know what to do with him..being a sucker I said 'I'll buy him!!' and took home a 3 year old backed but very green and nervous horse! So between me buying him and arranging delivery from Ireland to UK the dealer thought he'd be nice and have him 'cleaned up' for me!! Hence what arrived was a bald skinny thing with one leg of feather because apparently he freaked out on the last leg so they left him alone!!!!
I was distraught as I didn't want a hogged cob and it wasn't the same horse, luckily as he was so young I was throwing him a field anyway so he had time to grow back what he'd lost!
So lets buck the trend and show our cobs from hogged back to as nature intended (don't get me wrong i LOVE a hogged heavy cob but my lad really doesn't suit it!!)
First day :
Growing (not only his hair...boy fat fatty!!)
Growing..
Nearly!
Whoo hoo so close!!
And we're done!! (Excuse fatty rider...I've lost 3 stone after seeing these pictures!!
