I shan't bother putting a pic of mine on - she's only about 14hh and a Con X but I have a couple of friends with 'overheight' Connies - one is a more leg at each corner type and about 15hh. She is very well bred and put together and does very well in dressage, WH and side saddle classes.
The other is a very athletically built 15.2 which came from Ireland. He was going eventing.
It is well worth having a look on the BCPS website as there are horses for sale and you can also get a 'feel' for the stallions.
Apart from that there are a few dealers with websites specialising in Irish horses and Connies - Prestwood Farm springs to mind - which are also well worth looking at.
15hh+ Connies are contentious - they're an example of type vs. performance in breeding. A true, 'original'-type Connemara shouldn't go over the 14.2hh or so mark - as wild ponies, being over that size is a poor evolutionary move. However, they are superb jumpers, so have been selectively bred to be taller meaning that many Connies on paper have moved away from the type of their heritage, and are over 15hh.
They're now being frequently bred with TB to create powerful, finer and taller sport horses.
