Can I sell Prascend on ebay?

I've got 18 tablets left over now companion pony is no longer with us. It seems a shame to throw them away as they are so expensive. They were prescribed earlier this year and are in sealed foil "packets". Perhaps I should just post them for free to a charity, but I guess they might just throw them away? Anyone got any better ideas?

Such a waste isnt it OP? Ive had things like prascend etc. left over, I ended up giving the end of my supply to a friend for free who used it (her vet already prescribed it before anyone freaks out). I hate chucking perfectly good medicine which the vet charged a fortune for!

Many people give them to a charity that already has ponies on it. That seems to be the best way of dealing with them.

Give them back to your vet, mine refunded me for what I had left when my cob passed away

I have £600 worth of drugs sat in my garage, for human use, once they are dispensed if not used they have to be destroyed. I just can not bring my self to take them in. I was using an item that cost just over £200 a week, once I was in hospital I didn't need it.

They should not be in the bin either! Give them back to your vet for safe disposal - your vet might refund, mine did.

I agree with PAS. Our vet insists any unused medication are returned for safe disposal; I'm not sure it is actually legal to dispose of pharmaceuticals in normal waste bin actually.

I gave mine to world horse welfare with the vets consent.

@honetpot Take them to any local pharmacy for safe disposal. We've had huge binbags full of £1000s of medication returned, so really won't bat an eyelid.
