Okay I’m totally confused, it seems I can ride my horse but am I allowed to drive my horse?

Also as I employ a groom are they allowed to groom on a carriage?
Total numpty question I know.

Assuming you're asking about covid restrictions and you're in the UK, I'd suggest the answer is yes if the groom is someone from your household / support bubble.

If the groom isn't from your household or support bubble then advice would be not to. Is there another way to exercise your horse?

Yes I can ride one.
mines slightly thrown by the fact that if you can’t work from home you can still go to work, obviously my carriage groom can’t work from home remotely. Thank you

If they are employed as a groom, then you need to check through all the legislation about providing a covid secure work place.
If you can prove that you are doing that, then you may be able to (not my area.of expertise)

I would also say that you should check the 'traveling in a vehicle' covid requirements, eg both wearing face coverings, and preferably the groom is at the back of the carriage (if possible), and not sitting next to the driver....

Alternatively, you are entitled to meet up with one other whilst taking exercise outside, so that might cover the situation? but you should maintain a 2 m distance, so that might not be possible, depending on the carriage?

Stay safe!

Thank you, the carriage in question is a marathon extended platform and the horse is a heavy so definitely a big carriage with groom at back, will have a think might be better riding them.
