Saw a nice little welsh today as a second pony to be shared between my very novice but overly confident 6 year old and my 10 year old who loves jumping. She was a but lazy and needed plenty of leg but when she got going she jumped nicely. Hacking out was very easy, no worries, easy to do etc. Her back legs looked a bit longer than front legs although her back was straight. When ridden she held her neck 'long and low', not nicely on the bit - sorry I am a bit novice but what I mean is she looked a bit dejected rather than spritely. Any thoughts?
