bearing in mind i'm 23 and no trailer licence:

Car: 1300kg, trailer 500kg and horse 600kg (approx), which brings this to a total of 2400kg.

Car can tow 1244kg.

What is the trailers max weight? As even though you may not fully load it legally you have to include the whole potential weight it can carry.
And also once you've done your trailer test

And you also have to bear in mind the car's fully loaded weight too, but not unless you have taken a test for your trailer lisence.

Nope, you'd have to have a car heavier than the mam of the trailer, not just the actual weight of the trailer!

Afraid you are over then I believe, mam of trailer has to be less than weight of car. Not sure you'd be that safe towing off a 1200kg car though?

No horse trialer is within the limit if you passsed your test after 1997. as the MGW is too high. Sorry

It is also specified that you cannot tow a braked trailer without doing the B+E, regardless of weight...

A friend of mine tows a trailer with a short wheel base 4x4 and a rice trailer, 1 horse, apparently this is ok because there is a certain weight you can legally tow up to, she is 22, i didnt think this was allowed but they checked with the relevent bodies and its ok!!

I would do the lessons and the test anyway. It gave me a lot more confidence to tow, and you never know when you might need to tow with a friends car or trailer.
