go cross country in my showjumper XP hat? Its up to the current standard, and it doesnt say anywhere that it has to be a skull cap. I'm going to a clear round XC eve at SRC, and wondered i'm ok to go in my hat, or to buy a new one?

Does it have a fixed peak? If so then its not advisable for cross country.

you can wear one if you want to, but i wouldn't.

I thought there was a rule saying you cant wear fixed peaks anymore? Or maybe thats just PC / RC level...? Cant remember. If I were you Id ask the organisers? Otherwise, if you plan to do a bit of XC then you really should get a non-fixed peak one.
